Igor Coelho, the founder and CEO of Flow Group, mentioned that the company experienced a sudden 97% decrease in revenue. Initially a podcast, the company evolved into a hub for videocast production and digital content in Brazil, attracting around 30 million followers on online platforms.

The company’s downfall was not caused by financial or administrative issues, but rather by a negative reputation that grew, particularly following an incident in February 2022 involving discussions on free speech.

The presenter and partner of Coelho, Bruno Aiub, also known as Monark, suggested that a Nazi party, formally known as NSDAP, could be established.

The remark sparked national attention and raised concerns about the project’s future. Igor stated that as the controversy escalated, there was a realization that the company’s credibility was in jeopardy, leading to a financial crisis rooted in a larger reputation crisis.

Flow Group is experiencing consequences and challenges.

Coelho admitted that the event was a turning point, balancing the importance of brand preservation with concerns about the emotional and personal toll of the crisis.

Igor mentioned during the discussion that they were also attacking him and the entire Flow system in Monark, requiring quick and strategic decision-making.

Restructuring and exploring new opportunities

During a period of instability, changes were necessary to improve the management of the business. Igor acquired part ownership of Monark and recognized the need for a more formal approach to sustain Flow. This led to the reorganization of teams, establishment of quality standards, and the development of new strategic goals.
